The hydrogen industry still has a ‘huge way to go’ in building public perception, an exclusive H2 View BrainDrip-sponsored webinar has heard.
“Sadly misinformation is a hard challenge,” explained Rob Duffin, Director of Hydrogen, CCUS and Synthetic Fuels at Arup. “We have to demonstrate by doing.”
Commenting on the perception around hydrogen gas, Duffin reiterated the Hindenburg disaster in 1937 and films such as Knives Out Glass Onion haven’t done the industry any favours.
